Biography
Realism Artist • Muralist • Mentor • Certified Creative Arts Coach
I believe art has the power to inspire, connect, and heal. My journey as an artist has been deeply shaped by life experiences — transforming personal adversity into creativity, purpose, and hope.
My Journey
After enduring years of domestic violence and abuse that left me with shattered self-worth, I made a pivotal decision in 2020: to take control of my life and turn pain into purpose.
Guided by my personal motto, “Say YES and then figure out HOW,” I pushed past my limits and began building a life around creativity and courage.
Since then, I’ve had the privilege of completing thousands of realism sketches and paintings worldwide, illustrating children’s books, and painting large-scale murals and silos across small towns in Australia. My portfolio now includes eight public murals, each one a celebration of community and the beauty art brings to shared spaces.
My Work & Passions
I’m drawn to creating meaningful art — from memorial sketches that honour loved ones, to murals that transform public spaces. Each piece is a reflection of my belief that creativity can bring light, connection, and inspiration.
As the CEO of Desire To Sketch, my work goes beyond my own art. I mentor children and adults through art classes and school holiday programs, providing spaces that nurture confidence, kindness, and creativity.
My Mission
Through both my artwork and teaching, my goal is to:
- Inspire others to discover their creative voice
- Encourage resilience and positivity through self-expression
- Foster supportive, inclusive communities where creativity thrives
I believe every brushstroke and pencil line holds the power to heal, transform, and inspire — and it’s my mission to share that with the world.
Closing Words
Art is more than what we see on the canvas — it’s a reflection of who we are and who we can become. My hope is that my journey and my art remind others that even in the darkest times, we all have the power to shine.
